We are a family owned and operated Beauty and Lash Studio that strives to provide an environment that promotes growth and individuality within our team. Keeping It Glam is always looking to expand our team with professional and enthusiastic individuals who are looking for the next step in their beauty career. The atmosphere is upbeat and fun and we try to stray away from the normal boring corporate black and white culture. Taylor Keeping Smith

Taylor Keeping Smith is a licenced Esthetician who graduated from Aveda Chapel Hill in 2019. Starting her career, she developed a love for brows as she learned the art of brow mapping and waxing. Taylor was eager to keep growing and chased her passion for lashes as she entered the world of lash extensions. She is one of the owners of Keeping It Glam. Named after her maiden name “Keeping” and the idea that we should all feel glamorous. She is also a certified lash trainer, a 2x certified lash artist, and married to Julian Smith, our fearless and driven co-owner. It is her passion and mission  to make women feel beautiful and confident.

Julian Smith is one of the owners of Keeping It Glam. He is dedicated to ensuring that this company has the most creative content in the area. With skills in video production, photography, and marketing he has been able to help local and national brands increase their presence in the online world. Julian is passionate about building companies from the ground up and operates his personal business Brighter Light Media . If you happen to catch him on a slow day  he will tell you he is married to a real life princess.

We are so excited to welcome Samantha Thigpen to our team. She is a licensed Esthetician that is skilled in customer service, waxing , and has the ability to make anyone feel beautiful. Samantha is also a makeup guru and assists Taylor in all things management related. Her passion lies right here with you and is one of the first team members to service you here at Keeping It Glam.

Olivia has been in the permanent makeup industry for about 5 years now and truly fell in love with the process of making people look and feel like their best selves! Being a permanent makeup artist may distract you from the fact she was born and spent half of her life in Northern Wisconsin. She enjoys fishing and duck hunting with her boyfriend here on the Cape Fear river in her spare time! Anything from eyebrows, eyeliner, lip blushing, faux freckles to micro-needling. Olivia is ready to make your makeup routine a million times easier!

Doing hair is a passion Sarah has had her whole life. She moved to Wilmington from a small Indiana town in search of a more peaceful life and during the transition she started doing hair as a small hobby. Sarah fell head over heels so quick that she dropped everything else, dove head first into the beauty world and never looked back! She will not only give you your dream hair but Sarah will provide you with an energetic salon experience. Her favorite part about what she does is getting to know each client that sits in her chair. Sarah will not only make you feel like a best friend , but she will make sure you leave the studio as a brand new person.

Caitlin is a licensed Esthetician and certified lash artist that specializes in facials, lash extensions, and waxing. Being an Esthetician is more than she could have dreamed of! Caitlin pursued the beauty industry because she loves to help people become the best versions of themselves. The whole idea of why she does what she does is to encourage her clients to feel good in the skin they walk around in everyday. In her eyes confidence is key and making her clients feel that is what she is passionate about!

Mikayla is the founder and inspiration behind Rylynne Boutique which is named after her beautiful daughter. Since she was little she has always loved shopping at boutiques and she knew that she always wanted one of her own. She loves working with her best-friend Taylor who never gave up on her or the dream of opening a boutique
